Thanks Heather. I was hoping to get there to see the race. My parents live in Pompey which is close to Jamesville Beach. After my first tri I'm daydreaming about Ironman Syracuse. Maybe next year :)

Bob- I just did the inaugural Syracuse 70.3 today (my parents live near Syracuse so I couldn't pass it up). The race was really well run and beautiful except for the run which was on a highway for 13 miles. I'm really hoping they decide to change that part but I know they wanted to finish in downtown Syracuse so they made us run down the highway to get there!... Anyway, you'll have a good time at the race!

Thanks Jeff. I'll be training really hard to get in better shape for the 2011 season. I'm hoping to do my first Ironman 70.3 in Syracuse, NY (my home town) in a couple of years.

I'm now a triathlete. I competed in my first Triathlon yesterday at the Pumpkinman Triathlon Festival in South Berwick, ME. I came in 172 overall out of 471 and 22nd out of 38 in my age group. Now I'm addicted. I will be training very hard for the upcoming new year. Can't wait!

My triathlon training has been going good. Since the King Pine Duathlon, I've been swimming as much as possible. I'm now able to swim the Sprint course for the Pumpkinman Triathlon that's coming up on 9/11. I'm getting psyched.
